Dear Members and Friends,

As I reflect on the past two months, one word keeps coming to mind: momentum.

Every conversation, new partnership, and event has reinforced something I've believed since stepping into this role: ÒõAPPµ¼º½ is more than a business chamber. We're a community of people who genuinely want to see one another succeed.

June's 21st Joint Foreign Chambers Networking Night was a perfect example. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces alongside new connections, all coming together with a shared belief that collaboration is how we create new opportunities. Thank you to our sponsors, partners, and everyone who joined us in making the evening such a success.

What excites me even more is what's ahead.

We've received an incredibly positive response to our upcoming Women Leading ASEAN Growth forum. It's clear there is strong demand for conversations that celebrate leadership, entrepreneurship, and the role women continue to play in shaping the future of our region. I believe this will become one of ÒõAPPµ¼º½'s signature events, and I look forward to welcoming many of you there.

Alongside this, we're continuing to build a calendar of programs designed to help our members stay connected, informed, and competitive—from our General Membership Meetings and Canada 101 sessions to committee briefings and new opportunities for collaboration across industries.

My vision is simple. I want ÒõAPPµ¼º½ to be the first place people think of when they want to build meaningful relationships, discover new business opportunities, and contribute to the growing Canada–Philippines partnership.

Thank you for your continued trust, support, and engagement. The energy around our Chamber is real, and I believe we're only just getting started. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.

ABOUT CANCHAM

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ÒõAPPµ¼º½) was established in 1989. It is incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines as a non-profit organization.

Membership is open to Canadian, Philippine, and other third country corporations and individuals that have Canada-Philippines business interests. The membership includes large multinational corporations, small and medium business enterprises, and persons involved in a whole range of business activities including international trade, investment and labor mobility.

ÒõAPPµ¼º½ is governed within the framework set in its By-Laws registered with SEC. ÒõAPPµ¼º½ members elect the Board of Trustees and the Board of Trustees elects the President, Vice Presidents, and Treasurer. The Board of Trustees appoints the Board of Governors to provide it with advice on major institutional and policy issues.

ÒõAPPµ¼º½ is managed by the President and CEO with a National secretariat in the National Capital Region and chapters in Cebu and in Davao.

All Trustees, Governors, Officers, and staff of ÒõAPPµ¼º½ are required to comply with a Code of Conduct approved by the Board of Trustees.
